
Monimos Katoikos (a.k.a. Agrypnos), born Nikos Lazaridis, was born in 1988 in Chalkida and grew up in Thebes, where he took his first musical steps by releasing his first solo album in 2005 entitled “My own way”. During his student years he moved to Athens and joined the self-managed political-music group Hit & Rap. From 2008 to 2012 he released three personal albums, namely in 2008 “Daily Stories”, in 2010 “The Adventures of Little Nikolas, Volume 1” and in 2012 “Mia Fora Kai Enan Kairo” which also contained the first music. video entitled “The Voice”. He participated in many concerts and festivals, most of which were in self-managed venues and had a solidarity character. In 2013 he founded 5th Season Records together with DJ Rico releasing the double album “Hansel & Gretel” and the song “To Proto Treno – Original Mix”. In 2016 he releases the album “Oi Peripeteies Tou Mikrou Nicola, Vol. 2 (Alkool, Emmones, Daimones)” and then he doesn’t perform and doesn’t release material for about 4 years until in 2020 he returns with a new sound and with the duo “Gala. ” which marks his return to the music industry.
