GXHAN is one of the most promising rising artists in the domestic rap scene. As a core member of the collective Wake N Bake, he has already showcased his unique aesthetic approach to the genre, blending straight-forward hip-hop forms with elements from other contemporary genres. With fresh ideas, experimentation, and raw lyrical content, GXHAN brings something new and distinctive to the Greek music market.
Although still early in his career, GXHAN has already taken significant steps, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the Greek rap scene. His track Standards, featuring Katohos, has surpassed 400k streams, while his collaboration with Mikros Kleftis on Apopsi Freestyle has also captured listeners’ attention, gathering over 160k streams on Spotify.
In addition, GXHAN participated in Salò: The Concert, a rap event inspired by the film Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom by Pier Paolo Pasolini. The concert, which took place on the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in the spring of 2024, was a pivotal moment in his career, highlighting his ability to combine music with other art forms.
Beyond his personal musical achievements, GXHAN and the Wake N Bake collective made a major breakthrough in October 2024 by opening for one of Greece’s biggest rap stars, Saske, at his festival on Lycabettus Hill. This live performance marked an important milestone in the group’s rise, putting them on stage alongside some of the most significant names in Greek rap.
